Daily Scripture – 16/06/20

“Be on your guard, stand firm in the Faith, be courageous, be strong”. 1 Corinthians 16:13

It seems that God is telling us to stand steady in our Faith at the moment, be strong and courageous because the times that are coming are going to require us to be really grounded in who we are in Christ.  The end of the end of days is going to require courage and strength to keep moving forward with God, because there is going to be great deception in the land and unless we know God’s Word we are going to be among them. Stand steady friends and have the courage to speak The Word no matter what!

Daily Scripture – 15/06/20

The way I understand this scripture is that God is stoked when you believe He is there even though you can’t see Him. He is happy with you because you continue to diligently seek Him out. You need to have Faith to believe in God, because Faith is the evidence of things we can’t see in the human realm.

I will probably never see a million dollars in my lifetime but I know that it exists and if I diligently seek it, I would find it and be rewarded as many others before me.  I hope that makes sense.

Daily Scripture – 14/06/20

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

So good news! Scripture says that those who wait (stay grounded, stand still) will have their strength renewed!! If you are going through tough times don’t stress, don’t worry, don’t be anxious, God is there to give you the endurance you need to run through these times and not get tired. The world is full of hate at the moment, and while we are growing weary with what’s in front of us God is saying “hang on a minute I told you to wait for my next move, Hope in Me, I will get you through this without feeling like you have run a marathon! Hope in Me, says the Lord and you will soar above the trouble!

Thank you Lord for giving us the tools we need to get through these times and help us Lord to use them! Amen.

Daily Scripture – 13/09/20

This is a classic scripture that sets it out plainly that children are to listen to their parents.  Kids, especially teenagers think their parents are pretty stupid, they don’t understand that what we teach them is for their own growth and progression into adulthood.  Teach them this scripture from the word go and getting them to understand will be easier.

Daily Scripture – 12/06/2020

This is a great scripture because the truth just slaps you in the face.  For where your treasure is? What do they mean by that? Well it’s what you hold most dear to you, the one thing you would not be without, the one thing you can’t put a value on.  Non believers and some Christians I might add would say it’s their homes, cars, jewellry, children, money, animals or whatever other worldly things people treasure. But as people of Faith, out treasure lies in Jesus, He alone is the one thing we can’t do without, He alone is the one thing you can put or add value to, He is priceless, so whoever or whatever steals our heart, that it what we treasure the most, both good and bad.

My treasure is Jesus, my heart is for Heaven and I will see the Glory of The Lord.  Where is your treasure?

Daily Scripture – 11/06/2020

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Deuteronomy 31:6

Don’t let the world scare you, I get it though, at this stage in time it’s a scary looking place. But that’s because our eyes aren’t focused on Jesus or Heaven. To do this we must remain strong, strong in our convictions, strong in our right to pray, strong in our right to have an opinion, strong in our Faith.  To have this kind of strength will take courage, lots of it. But like this scripture, which is a covenant promise to you, God is there with you every step of the way. Just because you can’t see or feel him, KNOW He is there!

Daily Scripture – 10/06/2020

“to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will endure forever”. KJV

5 I will give them—within the walls of my house— a memorial and a name far greater than sons and daughters could give. For the name I give them is an everlasting one. It will never disappear! NLT

Come to the Lord and in His house he will give you an eternal name.  We will be marked by our name for eternity with God. That has GOT to be something worth fighting for!
